Levosalbutamol 0.5mg + Ambroxol 15mg + Guaiphenesin 50mg/5ml

LEVOSALBUTAMOL :

• R-isomer is considered the active isomer binds to beta2 receptor sites produces broncho dilation.
• The using levosalbutamol instead of salbutamol produces less direct effect of B.adrenergic receptor & fewer cardiac side effects.

AMBROXOL:

• An systemically active mucolytic agent.
• Promotes mucus clearance, facilitates expectoration and eases productive cough.
• Effective in reducing exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and in the protection from inflammatory reactions.

GUAIPHENESIN:

• An expectorant.
• Loosens phlegm & increases the lubrication of lungs allowing for a productive cough.
